There are a number of ways to generate a printed output from LINQ.

Direct Print

You can use the Print capability to print LINQ sketches.  Use the Print button in the toolbar:

Note that this will create a new tab and you may need to allow pop-ups from your LINQ domain.

Important Note:  When the print pop-up is open, sketch edit functionality is blocked.  You must close the print pop-up before resuming work on your sketch.

You can control a number of settings through your Print settings dialogue:

As with any print functions in the browser, there are significant limitations, particularly when printing large Sketches.  For that reason it may be better to export an image and then print from a desktop application such as PowerPoint.

Export Image and Print

You can export sketches or NAUD Panel content using the Export Image capability:

Clicking on the Export Image Button will allow you to select from two export formats:

The PNG export will export the relevant contents as a raster image which is suitable for use in a wide range of presentation and reporting applications.  Raster images can generate large files and depending upon the size of your sketch and the capabilities of your browser and system, the export might fail with a 'network error' message appearing in the download bar of your browser.

SVG is a vector graphics file which has a key advantage of producing much small file sizes.  SVG can't be used in as many applications but most up-to-date Microsoft applications do now support SVG.  Note that extremely large sketches may still generate SVG files which are too large for your browser to handle.

Your image will save into your Downloads folder
