A Capture Action is the action which creates Source Information. Put another way, a Capture Action injects new information into an Information Supply Chain.
By definition, it marks the start point of an Information Supply Chain and can therefore only have outbound information.
A Capture Action can be performed by a
person or automated by a System. An example of the former is a person typing information into a form; an example of the latter is an automatic weather station gathering meteorological information.
