An Output Information node is the end of an Information Supply Chain where business value is delivered. An Output either delivers that value in the form of a Business Outcome (a form of Action node) and / or as the delivery of information to a Customer Organisation.
Output Information that supports a Business Outcome is important in LINQ because it is the only place where value is measured. Value cascades back from Output nodes to Source nodes. Value is measured on a scale from 0 (no value) to 10 (high value). It is recorded against the Output Information node because it is a single Output that might deliver to multiple Business Outcomes.
