  • Capture nodes start the process
  • Action nodes describe tasks or activities
  • Information nodes describe data or things that are created or changed by actions
  • Role nodes represent the role or skillset required to do the work
  • System nodes represent the systems used to do the work or supply information
  • Outcome nodes represent the outcome of the process
