The LINQ People Dashboard takes the people described in your LINQ sketch and presents insight about their role in your business.
As people are captured through your Information Supply Chains, you are recording the slice of each person needed to perform an action. The People Dashboard provides a view which aggregates all of that information, presented as an interactive Infographic.
In order to ensure the People Dashboard works correctly, you need to have captured 3 pieces of data about People and Actions;
1. The People hourly rate (their burdened hourly rate),
2. The Action Duration (how long the action takes to perform) and
3. The Action Frequency (how many times the action takes place)
This information is used to calculate the annualised cost of the action:
The People Dashboard presents this content to deliver insights about the People in your business.
You access the People Dashboard from the top menu against a saved sketch:
The Dashboard is split into sections, each providing valuable information about the role of the person, role or team you are viewing. You can select the person, team or role from the drop down:
Details about the selected person, team or role are then provided.
How many Outcomes do they support, how many Actions do they perform, how many Information Assets are they responsible for, how many Systems do they use, what is their Hourly Rate and what is the cost of the Actions they perform is all provided to you enabling insight about cost, value and time:
Next a view centred on the person, team or role is provided which graphically displays everything performed within the sketch:
This view can help to show all of the Systems needed to perform the Actions; this could help with the understanding of training requirements, or the impact to the person, team or role should any of the systems be unavailable.
The actions performed provide insight into utilisation; how busy is the person, team or role - do they have capacity to do more, are they doing the most valuable work?
The connection to Business Outcomes and their value allows the conversation to focus on where value is enabled in support of those outcomes; are our People working on things which enable our business to be successful?
Finally, the People Dashboard digs into the detail of the Actions that are performed by the selected person, team or role, connecting you back to the sketch so you can understand specifically where in the Information Supply Chain actions are performed;
In the future we will also provide insight into Outcomes and Systems through the People Dashboard to deliver a comprehensive report on your most valuable business resource - people.
We will also be delivering a Work Value Index which will help determine the Judgement Value or Engagement Value of the actions that people perform. People should never be viewed purely as a cost to the business, they are an enabler and create value through the work they do; our Work Value Indices will quickly enable the visualisation of that so that businesses can identify the the opportunity to move People from highly manual and repetitive tasks which may be automated to value adding tasks.
Beyond the initial People Dashboard is the People Solver Pack which will deliver role specific insight through the business including;
The precise modelling of people capacity versus utilization
Connections to HR systems that will provide a current state of people
and teams
